Through the private achievement platform, residents can apply for a carport residence permit. To obtain the permit, applicants must complete the online application form, pay a nominal fee, and receive approval within five working days. The application process requires the submission of essential documents, including a copy of the title deed, survey drawing, an electronic copy of the general site map, detailed maps of the carport, a pledge to remove the carport if required, and approvals from relevant authorities such as the Telecommunications Company, Ooredoo Company, and the Public Authority for Electricity and Water.
The application involves four key stages: first, the applicant submits the request electronically; next, the competent employee reviews the application and conducts a site visit; after that, the official grants approval; and finally, the system issues the license once the application is accepted.
