The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources is paying close attention to developing its services by transforming a large number of them into facilitated electronic transactions that serve the interests of beneficiaries and help expedite the completion of tasks and decisions.
The service of requesting to change the type of use of wells comes as one of these electronic transactions that the Ministry has included in its website; where the beneficiary can familiarize himself with the requirements and documents required before applying for the license and follow its process. The Ministry listed the time taken to obtain the license, explaining that it ranges from 10 days to 33 working days, and is done through the website only. The beneficiary goes through 5 stages, starting from filling out the application form and attaching the required documents, then paying the fees, which do not exceed 100 baisas, to then determining the route and administrative division automatically according to geographical location.
The Ministry follows up the submitted application to verify the validity of the data through a field visit to the site and submit the inspection report, then the transaction progresses in the procedural sequence until it reaches the final approval stage to receive approval or rejection, after approval and submission of the application, the application fee is paid through the website and then an electronic message is issued directly in the system.
Important documents must be provided while submitting the license application, such as: A property ownership certificate, a valid usufruct contract, a survey drawing of the site, and a copy of the well's certificate of confinement and registration with the requirement that the well must be confined and registered, and the owner of the well must be the same as the owner of the property, and if there are partners in the well, their consent must be obtained to submit the application.
This service improves the quality of following up the requests of users of the ministry's services and saves their time, in addition to many other e-services that the Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources works to provide.
