This service enables you to request usufruct of government land, supporting economic and social development goals, and offering you the opportunity to benefit from the land while it remains owned by the Sultanate of Oman after the contract registration.

Property Registration FeesFor each model of usufruct contract: (10) Omani Riyals (paid with each contract renewal). Fees for determining the new cadastral drawing: (12) OMR in the wilayat of Salalah and the wilayats of Muscat Governorate except Qurayyat, and (10) OMR in all wilayats + Qurayyat. Property registration fees: (1%) of the value of the usable land. Land rental fees are calculated based on the type of use and area and are paid annually.

Special conditions
- The applicant must be an individual, institution, or company
- The usufruct contract is registered in the names of the partners according to the commercial register of the beneficiary company
- Beneficiaries of the usufruct right (companies, commercial institutions, and individuals) must pay fees (in return for the usufruct right) in addition to the annual registration fees for the usufruct contract to use a plot of land under the usufruct agreement
