This service enables researchers to submit proposals for research projects in a specialized field to the authority for assistance in following up and facilitating the research procedures until it is issued and published.

Special conditions
- The beneficiary must be registered in the National Records and Archives Authority
- The field of research must be within the authority’s jurisdiction in terms of the historical, documentary, or cultural aspect
- The scientific research falling under the authority’s jurisdiction, in the case of master’s and doctoral theses, must not be more than five years old
- If the research proposal is ready for publication, it must have a clear scientific methodology
- The research must relate to the Sultanate of Oman or the Mandates of the Authority
