Supreme Judicial Council Launches Najiz E-Services Portal

The Supreme Judicial Council in Oman has launched the NajIz Portal as part of its efforts to promote digital transformation and facilitate access to judicial services for citizens and residents, in a ceremony held at the Military Technological College.
The portal specializes in registering cases and appeals in administrative departments, as it is one of the e-services provided by the Supreme Judicial Council, in addition to the litigants' portal, the notary system (Tawtheeq), the employee portal and the Meaad System, which can be easily accessed by the beneficiary when visiting the council's website. The Najiz portal provides updated information about the daily hearing schedule in all courts in Oman, with status, case number and administrative department, and can also inquire about a case or appeal by filling in some data, such as: case number, case type, and year, and ID number or mobile phone number.
The Najiz portal brings together a number of e-services that the beneficiary can easily apply for, namely: The enforcement of judgments service, which allows litigants or their legal representatives to carry out the enforcement procedure, the service of filing submissions and documents of lawsuits and appeals, the service of requesting a certificate of attendance of a hearing, the service of delivering a copy of the judgment that allows the delivery of a copy of the judgment to litigants or their legal representatives provided they receive a text message about the availability of the issued judgment, the service of registering a lawsuit or appeal by entering the details of the parties with a summary of the subject and requests, and the service of following up the status of the request that helps in following up the details of the requests submitted.
The launch of this portal comes in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 in the digital transformation of government institutions, and in implementation of the Supreme Judicial Council's strategy to develop the workflow of the judicial authorities and strengthen the public's confidence in the judicial authorities.
