Tatwir Launches 'Choose & Invest' for Corporate Members
your profile: Ministry of Housing and urban planning

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has launched the 'Choose and Invest' service on Tatwir, the real estate asset management platform in Oman, as part of a package of e-services that the Ministry seeks to digitize to ensure competition, transparency and equal opportunities among institutions.
Choose and Invest is one of the investment opportunities that only members of Tatwir's corporate membership can apply for, in addition to other services. Fixed fees and multiple opportunities are what characterize this service, in addition to the freedom to determine the type of activity to be implemented for the investor.
To apply and follow up on the opportunities offered, you must log in using the company's commercial registration (for corporate membership holders only) and pay the registration fees, then you can directly view the number of available lands while specifying the governorate you want to search in.
The platform provides the investor with detailed data on the lands available for investment in each governorate. Upon selecting the land to be invested, an accurate description of the area and location will appear, along with the controls and documents required to be submitted and attached, and there are a number of advantages that accompany each opportunity such as: Exemption from fees for specific years, and fixed usufruct fees. The investor can also find important details such as: The date of publication of the opportunity, reservation fees, grace period, other attachments to help analyze the opportunity, and direct communication channels for follow-up and inquiries.
The Tatwir platform also offers several investment opportunities, such as: Developing and operating some facilities and projects, and the “Propose Your Project” service, which is also available on the platform for those who have entrepreneurial ideas and would like to receive logistical support or expand their existing project. This makes the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development move steadily towards achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040 in digitizing its services, and transforming housing services and urban planning to more advanced phases of the concept of community-oriented placemaking in collaboration with local and global communities.
