The Consumer Protection Authority works to protect the rights of consumers by ensuring access to high-quality goods at the lowest prices, monitoring the Omani market and encouraging competition while preventing monopolies to provide a fair environment. It also sets policies to protect consumers from commercial fraud and unethical  practices.
