The Consumer Protection Authority in the Sultanate of Oman offers a range of e-services that enable consumers to report violations or file complaints easily through its e-portal, ensuring smooth and clear procedures.

Upon visiting the authority’s website, users can access the services page to view the available options. When selecting the complaint form, an alert appears providing instructions before proceeding. The complaint submission process involves four steps: entering complaint details, consumer information, commercial establishment data, and uploading supporting attachments.

Users must ensure that all data is accurate, including selecting the type of provider and the relevant sector. Complaints or reports are accepted only for services within the Sultanate of Oman and can be submitted by citizens, residents, or visitors.

In addition to filing complaints, the Consumer Protection Authority’s e-services include applications for launching new products, requests for price increases on products and services, car maintenance services, and other tools that support market competition and combat fraud, protecting both consumers and the national economy.
