About the University

The University of Technology and Applied Sciences, established by Royal Decree No. (76/2020), is the largest higher education institution in Oman. It was formed through the merger of technical colleges, applied sciences colleges, and the College of Education in Rustaq. With 11 branches across the Sultanate, the university offers diverse programs in engineering, technology, computer science, economics, business, applied sciences, pharmacy, and education. It serves over 48,000 students, making it the largest university in Oman by both geographical reach and student enrollment.
