The Social Protection Fund is the official institution responsible for all social protection initiatives and programs in the Sultanate of Oman. The Fund seeks to improve the quality of life and provide social protection and care, in line with the Sultanate of Oman’s vision and related to social protection.
To learn about the initiatives and benefits targeting members of society and the families, visit the Social Protection Fund website. At the top, users will find sections for social protection benefits, social insurance branches, and the savings program. To apply for programs and benefits, they must log in with an electronically verified phone number, or an ID number using a card reader.
The appointment booking service is available on the Fund’s main page. It allows beneficiaries to schedule a visit by selecting a time and date, and entering necessary details, such as the personal card number, card expiration date, full name, branch, visit reason (from an automatic list), phone number, email, and disability type (if applicable).
The digital transformation in government services reflects positive results on the institutions’ performance index, and contributes to directing energies and procedures in the appropriate path, while reducing the effort required by beneficiaries to access services. It ensures greater attention is given to diverse societal segments, including children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
