Meaad is an electronic system launched by the Supreme Judicial Council to simplify the process of booking appointments at various courts, supporting the council’s mission to build an efficient judicial system that upholds justice, accelerates litigation, enforcement, and documentation procedures, and improves the overall experience for beneficiaries.

Appointments can be booked through simple steps via the Supreme Judicial Council’s website. After navigating to the e-services section and selecting the Meaad System, users fill in the required fields, starting by choosing the relevant judicial entity, such as the Primary Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Council of Administrative Affairs for the Judiciary, or Notary Public.

Beneficiaries then select the department they wish to visit, such as the Enforcement, Hearings, or Litigation Department. After choosing a preferred date at least 48 hours in advance and a suitable time during working hours, applicants complete their information, including full name, ID number, phone number, and case file number.

Upon submission, a text message is sent with a link to confirm the booking, which must be verified 24 hours before the appointment. On the day of the visit, the booking number is presented to the court employee for assistance.

The Meaad system represents a key milestone in the Supreme Judicial Council’s digital transformation journey, aligning with Oman Vision 2040 by leveraging modern technologies to enhance efficiency and streamline judicial services for citizens and residents.
