Online Registration Open for Postgraduate Programs at SQU

In line with Sultan Qaboos University's goals of preparing generations of young people who are keen to adhere to the scientific approach and qualify them academically and professionally to be able to be creative, innovative and self-learning, the university announced the mechanism of electronic registration for the available undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

After agreeing to the terms and conditions, the student begins by submitting the application by logging into the SQU portal and filling in the basic data, such as: ID card number, card expiration date, and the academic level they want to apply for. After that, the student must add his contact information: Email, by providing the verification code that is sent to the email, and the phone number with the verification code, which is also sent as a text message. 

In the next stage, the applicant chooses the program he wants to apply for, and a fee of RO. 10 is charged for each program added, followed by adding the academic qualifications and English proficiency test certificate. The system then asks the applicant to upload a number of important documents to complete the registration process, and add work experience if the applicant works in a specific organization. After that, the application is submitted, the admission fees are paid online, and the registration is completed successfully.

Sultan Qaboos University is keeping pace with the latest digital practices in the admission process and other services it provides to students and employees, thus serving their aspirations in one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the Sultanate of Oman. These efforts come in line with the digital transformation plans adopted by the government as part of Oman Vision 2040.
