Special conditions
- Must be of Omani nationality.
- Must be at least 30 years old and possess full legal capacity.
- Must have a good reputation, with no prior convictions for felonies or misdemeanors that affect honor or trustworthiness, and must not have been dismissed from a position for these reasons unless rehabilitated.
- Must not be employed in the State's Administrative Apparatus or other public legal entities and not be engaged in the practice of law.
- To possess a certificate in their field of specialization from a recognized university, college, or institute. If the certificate is issued by an institution outside the Sultanate of Oman, it must be accredited by the competent authorities. The certificate must be in Arabic or accompanied by an official translation if issued in another language. Alternatively, the individual may hold a licensed legal accountant certificate from the relevant authority.
- A minimum of (5) years of experience is required for registration in the registry if the beneficiary is a legal entity, and a minimum of (10) years is required if the beneficiary is a normal person.
- To be registered in the commercial register for practicing business related to the field of expertise specified in the request or to provide a no-objection certificate from the legal representative of the institution registered in the commercial register if the beneficiary is one of its employees. The committee may grant exceptions to this condition if the nature of the expertise does not require registration in the commercial register.
