your profile: Ministry of Heritage and Tourism

As part of the Oman Vision 2040 plans to digitize government services and facilitate access to services and information, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism's e-government services portal has been launched to make it easier and faster for investors in the heritage and tourism sector to complete their transactions.
One of the most important e-services provided by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is the request for a travel and tourism agencies license, for those wishing to obtain a travel and tourism office license. The application process requires attaching some documents, including: Ownership Certificate (Mulkiya) or lease contract for the premises to be utilised, a copy of the entrepreneurial card if the applicant is registered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, and the employment plan form must be filled out, uploaded and downloaded from the service details page. The last step is the payment of the license issuance fee amounting to RO. 57, after which the applicant will obtain the license instantly.
On the Ministry’s website, investors and entrepreneurs can find a range of services that are now all done online, divided into categories, such as: Hotel and restaurants services, travel and tourism, tourism land, and tourism promotion.
The digital transformation of the services is one of the most significant goals that the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is focusing on, as it has a great impact on improving institutional work, as well as utilizing technology to promote Oman as an ideal investment and tourism environment.
