Oman Public Prosecution

Oman Public Prosecution is an independent judicial institution and a cornerstone of the Omani judiciary. It was established to emphasize the importance of the rule of law and reinforce the independence of the judiciary. It represents public lawsuits on behalf of society, and is concerned with achieving justice in accordance with the Basic Law of the State. It also supervises judicial control affairs, and in cooperation with judicial and security authorities to ensure the application of the law and combating crimes, thereby contributing to enhancing societal stability and security.
